Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. You do not have to give a reason.

Where an order is delivered in several parts, the 14 days run from the day you receive the last item.

How to withdraw

Sending the goods back

Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you told us you were withdrawing.

Please write your order number and a phone number on the parcel.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We cannot accept parcels sent cash on delivery.

Condition of the returned goods

You may handle and try on the goods as you would in a shop. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

In practice, for footwear this means:

  • tried on indoors, on a clean surface — not worn outside;
  • no marks, scuffing or damage to the soles;
  • returned with the original box and any tags, where these were supplied.

Your refund

We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost of sending the order to you, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal.

If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard one, we refund the standard cost rather than the premium.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.

We refund using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. The refund costs you nothing.

Legal guarantee of conformity

Separately from the right of withdrawal, goods that are not as described, not fit for purpose, or not of the quality you can reasonably expect are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery. In that case you may ask for repair or replacement and, where those are not possible or proportionate, a price reduction or a refund. Contact us at info@hophopshop.com and we will tell you how to proceed.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.

Disputes

If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may take it to a conciliation body. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available; the bodies that replace it are named in our Legal Notice.
